Snuggle up!
These barrow’s goldeneyes were in Soda Lake, WY. When we first arrived there, the lake seemed more frozen than tough. We drove around, and when we saw open water, we parked. The lake was surreal. It had big pieces of ice floating all over the lake. The pieces of ice were changing the landscape fast. These borrows were close to the shore. By the time I got ready, they had made their way out on the lake.It was very windy, my nose was running, and it was hard to stay still. It was at the beginning of May, and we were tired of it being cold, so we didn't dress properly. I just want to embrace spring or summer, but Wyoming doesn’t have the same desire as we do. We got very chilly.
We were in one spot for around an hour. Then Conor came to get me, and we went and searched for a place out of the wind.
